My wife shared this video with me. It’s a part of Matthew Kelly’s Advent video series.
Watch: “A God of Miracles” by Matthew Kelly
From the transcript:
Our image of God is too small. We shrink God so we can try and get our heads around it. We live in a culture that wants to understand everything, so we try and shrink God down so we can try and understand him. But you can’t. That’s not possible. Our God’s a big God. And he’s a God of miracles.
But let me ask you: when’s the last time you asked God to do a miracle?
When Jesus gives a reason for healing someone in the Gospels, do you know what he says?
He says, “your faith has healed you” (Lk 17:19).
Maybe my image of God is too small.
When was the last time I asked God to do a miracle?
Do I have 100% confidence that he will answer my prayer?
